But this year, disaster loomed. The sky stayed cloudy for days, and the sun refused to shine. The townspeople feared they’d have to cancel the beloved parade.
Just when spirits were lowest, a little girl in a bright yellow dress appeared in the town square. Her name was Honeylyn Bright, and with her honey-colored purse, starry eyes, and soft golden curls, she looked like a piece of sunshine come to life.
