In the shimmering bay of Blue Tide lived a mermaid girl named Aria. With her fiery orange hair and bright star-like eyes, she was known throughout the ocean for her one-of-a-kind singing voice.
Every day, Aria sang beneath the water, letting her melodies dance through coral tunnels and kelp forests. And always—without fail—a soft echo would return to her from the deepest part of the sea, almost as if someone far away was singing back.
But one evening, the echo vanished.
Determined to find it, Aria set out for the ancient Echo Trench. Along the way she helped a lost sea turtle, calmed a shy seahorse, and floated beside glowing jellyfish who offered to light her path.
At the trench’s edge, she discovered the truth:
The echo belonged to an old Ocean Whale, weakened by an injury and unable to sing anymore.
Aria sat beside the whale and began to sing the gentlest melody she knew—warm, soft, full of hope. Slowly, the whale lifted its head, and a tiny glimmer returned to its eyes. Bit by bit… it sang back.
That night, their harmonies lit the entire ocean.
