Piper was the town’s biggest Halloween fan. With fluffy white hair, sparkly purple eyes, and her signature pumpkin-colored witch dress, she waited all year for October. She decorated herself with pumpkin ribbons, bat bows, and a tiny broom, ready for the annual Trick-or-Treat Parade.
But this year, something went wrong. The night before the parade, the giant pumpkin lantern in the town square suddenly went dark. Without it, the whole town’s Halloween magic would disappear. Everyone panicked—except Piper. She noticed a strange crack glowing at the base of the lantern.
Gathering her courage, she pressed her sparkly bat belt against the crack. In a burst of swirling orange light, Piper was pulled into a glowing pumpkin realm filled with caramel-scented air and floating candy.
Inside, she discovered the “Halloween Engine,” a magical machine that powered the town’s entire holiday spirit. It had stalled—and only a child brave enough and full of Halloween joy could restart it.
Piper climbed onto a giant magic broom and zoomed around the pumpkin core, collecting loose giggles, playful screams, and sweet candy energy. When she poured everything back into the engine, it burst to life with a brilliant flash.
Moments later, Piper was back in the town square, and the giant pumpkin lantern glowed brighter than ever. The townspeople cheered,
“Piper saved Halloween!”
Ever since that night, the little bat bows in her hair glow faintly every Halloween—reminding everyone that the magic of the season lives in courage, fun, and a kid’s love for spooky adventures.
